For architects & designers · the one-page version

Specifiable finishes, rendered on your wall before you write them in.

Epic brings the full depth of 3M’s architectural film line — DI-NOC, Fasara, solar and security — with visualizers that drop any pattern onto a real wall, cab or glass photo, spec sheets ready for the section, and installers who are 3M-trained and certified so the warranty holds.

  • 916 DI-NOC patterns · 34 series
  • Visualizers for walls, cabs and glass
  • 3M-trained & certified DI-NOC specialists
  • One team: finishes, film, graphics

You are deciding what goes in the spec, not buying film. Epic makes the spec defensible: 3M products by name and series, Class A fire ratings and warranty terms on the sheet, renderings the owner can approve, and an installation partner that understands design intent — the same team installs the security film in the vestibule and the DI-NOC in the cab.

What you get, and how we prove it.

  1. 01

    The product, by name

3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes for walls, cabs, doors, columns and casework; 3M™ Fasara™ Glass Finishes for privacy and pattern on glass; 3M Prestige and Ceramic where the glass has to stay invisible; S2400 where the opening has to hold.

  2. 02

Render it before you specify it

The DI-NOC visualizer maps any of 916 patterns onto a cab, wall or door photo with the room’s own lighting; the glass visualizer does the same for frost, gradients and graphics. Send the owner a rendering, not a swatch.

  3. 03

    Installed by 3M-trained, certified specialists

Epic’s DI-NOC installation specialists are 3M-trained and certified. Cabs are refinished in days with the car back in service each night.

  4. 04

    One team across the project

Finishes, privacy film, solar film, security film and environmental graphics from one in-house team means one submittal set, one point of contact and one standard from the vestibule to the top floor.

FAQ

What you are probably thinking

Is DI-NOC just vinyl wallpaper?
It is an architectural finish film — a Class A, 12-year-warranted 3M product that looks and feels like wood, stone, metal or fabric and applies over the existing substrate. The difference is in the product data and in who installs it; both are on the spec sheet.
Can we get it in a CSI format?
Yes. Editable CSI three-part guide specifications — Section 08 87 23 for attached security film and 08 87 13 for solar control film, Word and PDF, Epic as basis of design — are on the guide specifications page, with a free project mark-up. Sections 08 87 26 (decorative and privacy film), 09 72 00 (3M DI-NOC finishes) and 10 14 00 (environmental graphics) are there too, so entry glass, a glass-walled office, a lobby refinish and a branded wall can all be specified from one place. Spec cards and the Epic Method documents are on the Resources page.
Lead time?
Most DI-NOC series are stocked by 3M; Quick Ship patterns are flagged in the visualizer. Fasara and solar films are typically days, not weeks. We confirm before you issue.
