Silver films reject the most solar energy per dollar in the 3M line and have decades of field performance in the hardest sun exposures. The trade-off is a mirrored daytime exterior, which many owners of warehouses, industrial buildings and large uniform elevations prefer, and some design-sensitive buildings do not — Epic shows both in the visualizer before you decide. Silver 15 and 35 Exterior carry a weatherable construction for application to the outside of the glass.

Which glass this film is approved for
Silver P18 is interior-applied and approved for most single-pane and insulated commercial glass. Silver 15 and 35 Exterior are applied to the outer surface from lifts and swing stages where interior access is impractical or the glass is thermally sensitive. Epic confirms glass type and thermal-stress compatibility at the free survey; the 3M warranty terms for interior and exterior films are stated on the proposal.
