Privacy film & glass graphics · 3M Fasara, Dusted Crystal & custom-printed designs
Privacy where people sit. Daylight everywhere else.
Privacy window film is a translucent, patterned or printed film applied to the glass you already have, so a conference room, exam room or front office cannot be seen into while the daylight still comes through. Most dealers can only sell what comes off a manufactured roll. Epic installs the full 3M Fasara line and 3M Dusted Crystal — and when the design you want isn’t in the book, we design, print and cut it ourselves: frost bands, gradients, logos, room names and full glass graphics, printed in-house at VisuFlare, our sister large-format studio. The 3M catalog below is there to give you ideas. Epic makes the inspiration real — for offices, healthcare, schools, storefronts and homes, nationwide.
- 115 3M Fasara designs for inspiration, every one in the catalog below
- Any design you can dream up — printed and cut in-house
- Frost bands, gradients, logos, room names, glass graphics
- Installed in a day by Epic’s own certified crews
Six places the glass is right and the sightline is wrong.
Blinds hide the window and collect dust. Replacing the glass with etched or sandblasted panels means new glass, demolition and the room out of service. Film fixes the sightline in a day and leaves the light alone.
Conference rooms & boardrooms
A frost band from seated-face height to standing-head height hides the screen and the faces around the table; the glass above and below stays clear so the room still reads as glass. The single most-requested privacy detail in an office.
More →Glass offices & huddle rooms
Full frost on the door sidelite, a gradient on the front wall, or a pattern that carries the brand down a run of offices. Light keeps moving through the floor plate; the distraction stops.
More →Healthcare & wellness
Exam-room doors, consult rooms, lactation and wellness rooms, pharmacy counters: privacy at seated and standing eye level without a dark room and without blinds that collect dust.
More →Lobbies, storefronts & restrooms
Street-facing glass that needs daytime privacy, restroom and locker-room sidelites, stairwell glass. Full frosts and the milky designs for the most coverage; textures, washi and printed glass graphics where the glass should feel designed, not covered.
More →Schools
Classroom door sidelites and front-office glass that need to be covered during a lockdown and clear the rest of the day — frost bands and film-safe, removable graphics, including over security film already on the glass.
More →Homes
Bathroom windows, front-door sidelites, a street-facing bedroom: a frosted film that keeps the daylight and ends the need for a blind. Installed in a morning by the same crews that do our commercial work.

Pick a treatment. Only the glass changes.
A full frost, the 24-to-84-inch privacy band, a gradient fade, every 3M Fasara design and the custom-cut patterns Epic makes — rendered in true inches on real rooms, so you see what the people inside will feel. If none of it is quite yours, the next section is where we make the one that is.
Drag the handle on the photo to compare.
White is the standard etched look; colored frost is printed translucent film.
Frost and graphics are rendered in perspective onto the real glass in each photo, in true inches (an 18–78 in. privacy band, 2 in. markers). This is a simulation — patterns, colors and your brand name are placeholders for design — Epic’s designers and VisuFlare, our in-house print studio, produce the finished artwork and proofs on your actual elevations.
Frost from 24 to 84 inches. Clear above and below.
The detail architects specify most: a band of frost that starts about two feet off the floor and ends about seven feet up. Faces and screens are private; heads, feet and the ceiling line stay visible, so the room still reads as occupied and the glass still reads as glass. It is written into Epic’s 08 87 26 guide specification, and the band height is adjusted to the room — lower for seated privacy in a consult room, higher for a standing-height counter.

Optics are 3M's published values for the film on 3 mm clear glass; screen color varies. Standard roll 50 in. × 98.4 ft.; some designs 60 in. Epic brings the sample book to the walk-through and makes a mock-up on your actual glass before anything is ordered.
If the pattern you want isn’t in the book, Epic cuts it.
Fasara is 3M’s catalog. Epic Precision is ours: a proprietary cutting process department, in place since 2023, that turns any design — your logo, a privacy band with your room names, a lattice at the exact scale your architect drew, a frost that fades where you say it should — into film cut to the opening. Send a sketch, a brand standard or a photo of something you liked somewhere else; our designers draw it, VisuFlare prints or cuts it, and Epic Certified Installation Specialists install it. Custom frost goes over security film too, without touching it.

Don’t see it in the book? Dream it up. We’ll make it.
Most dealers sell what the manufacturer put on the roll. Epic is not limited to the catalog. Anything that can be drawn can go on the glass: a logo on the boardroom wall, room names and numbers on every door, a pattern that carries the brand down a corridor, a full-color graphic on a storefront, a frost at the exact scale your architect drew. Our designers draw it from your sketch, brand standard or a photo of something you liked somewhere else; it is printed in-house at VisuFlare, our sister large-format studio in McKinney, where Epic is a Platinum member; Epic Precision — Epic’s proprietary cutting process department — cuts it to the opening, labels every piece for the pane it belongs to and kits it in installation order, so the crew installs and nothing is trimmed on site.
The cutting machine was built for security film, where a hand-cut nick is a tear point — the film rips open from it when the glass breaks. On a frost graphic the same precision shows up as an edge that reads as etched glass instead of a sticker. The pattern on Epic’s own conference glass — a field of etched hexagons with a few in the brand color — is in the visualizer above.
Glass graphics take the same pane further: a printed brand band with the wordmark, a logo knocked clear out of a frost and double-sided so it reads from both sides, a perforated window graphic that shows from the street and stays see-through from inside, a mural on a glass wall. Privacy and branding on one piece of film, removable later. See the printed side of the work at Environmental Graphics.
Over security film already on the glass? Epic prints and cuts a removable, film-safe layer for it — graphics over security film.
